Update version
If you have already installed any versions (include the
Japanese version, the English version 0.9E BETA-3) of WinGroove,
you may use the updated version here.
The BETA-3 didn't contain explanations about shareware
registration. If your copy of WinGroove that is still BETA-3 and
you want to register to WinGroove, get updated version here. This
version contains the registration utility.
- If you have installed the Japanese WinGroove on Windows3.x
/ WFW3.xx /NT3.x , Delete the following all icons and the
(un-readable titled) group on Program Manager BEFORE
English version installation.

If you are using Windows95 or NT4.0, the updated version
will automatically delete them. You may skip this step.
- Download "WG09E_UE.EXE".
(Update version 300 KBytes)

- Run "WG09E_UE.EXE". Firstly, it will confirm
temporary directory that will be temporary used while
extracting.
If you don't want to use the directory, change the name.
Do NOT specify the old version's directory at this time.
Click "OK" button to start extracting.
- "WGUPDATE.EXE" will start automatically.
- Enter the directory name that is the old version of
WinGroove is installed.
- "WinGroove" folder (or group) will be created
in the "Programs" of "Start" button (or
"Program manager").
- If you have installed WinGroove as a device driver,
Restart Windows.
- Delete temporary directory that was created by the above
extracting. Also, you may delete "WG09E_UE.EXE".
- Enjoy WinGroove!
Fullset version
- Download "WG09E_E.EXE". (Fullset
version 1.2 MBytes)

- Run "WG09E_E.EXE". Firstly, it will confirm
temporary directory that will be temporary used while
extracting.
If you don't want to use the directory, change the name.
Click "OK" button to start extracting.
- The installer "WGSETUP.EXE" will start
automatically. If you'd like to learn more about
WinGroove before installation, quit the installer and
read both "README.TXT" and "WINGROOV.HLP".
- Follow the installer.
- If the installation is completed successfully, delete
temporary directory that was created by the above
extracting. Also, you may delete "WG09E_E.EXE".
- Enjoy WinGroove!
Uninstallation
Do NOT delete any files manually. WinGroove is running as
"Device Driver". It is always processing several
messages that are sent from Windows system.
If you already deleted any files manually, you have to re-install
WinGroove again and follow the uninstallation instructions to
completely remove WinGroove.
- Open "WinGroove Setup" dialog.
- Uncheck "device driver" option if it is checked.
- Restarted Windows to remove WinGroove from device driver
system.
- When using Windows3.1, delete icons in WinGroove group by
selecting each icon and pressing [Delete] key. Finally,
delete the "WinGroove" group icon itself by
selecting it from the Program Manager and pressing the [Delete]
key.
When using Windows95, drag and drop the "WinGroove"
folder to the Recycle Bin.
- Delete all files in directory specified as [Installation
directory] during "WGSETUP.EXE".
